Our March meeting at Hart’s Fabric was a success, as always. Some of the topics we covered are our Fall 2015 retreat, our scheduled sew days at the Aptos Community Foundation for the upcoming year, and our guild members who won Judges Choice awards at the February PVQA quilt show. After that, we were treated to a QuiltCon report from several of our members who were lucky enough to attend the Austin show. It was very exciting to hear about their experiences with volunteering, meeting international quilting superstars, and the sights and sounds of the show. They also shared their tips for attending next year’s show in Pasadena. After that, it was time for a Sew and Tell that was smaller than usual. Apparently there was too much traveling and not enough sewing going on last month. We will have to remedy that for our April meeting!
Pam, as usual, came prepared to impress us with her artistry.
She did not disappoint!
Karen showed off her amazing bag making skills.
Kathrin shared her beautiful Gwen Marston style mini.
And, Lynne presented Karen with a camera fabric bag as a thank you for the superb photography she does for our guild.
That’s it for March. See you in April!
