Chawne Kimber – Workshop: Adventures in Tiny Piecing

June 15 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

We use layouts of squares of varied sizes to explore small-scale machine piecing that preserves stamina while producing detailed work. Equipment, fabrics, basic color theory, and structural integrity are essential elements we emphasize. A full-day workshop can result in a completed mini quilt top. (advanced beginner and above)

Chawne Kimber is an award winning textile artist who has exhibited quilts and embroidery in galleries and festivals in all over the United States. When not manipulating cotton, she is a professor of mathematics at a small liberal arts college in the Northeast. Find Chawne on her blog or on Instagram!
