September’s meeting was fabulous as always, and held at the at the amazing Harts Fabric in Santa Cruz, CA. We had one visitor, hi Lynn! We’re excited you came to see what were are all about!
There will be a reception held for the SBAMQG at SueDees on September 14th from 6-8pm for the modern quilt show they have on display all of September. We hope to see you there!
Rebecca lead a great on-trend fabric discussion featuring the new fabric line, Tule by designer Leah Duncan . She spoke about how Leah had a lot of Southwestern influence and an open discussion was started about the fabrics great fresh colors and detail.

More progress is being made on our informal guild quilt along using Elizabeth Hartman’s Sparkle Punch Tutorial.
Member Lori gave a great demonstration that she learned from Ricky Tims on how to construct 3-D flying geese with ease. The method can also be used at cathedral windows. Thanks, Lori!
