May Guild Meeting

Pam Rocco is going to be hosting a really great meeting featuring a free-motion quilting demo with Laura!
Meeting Discount: For those of you who might not know, as a guild member you receive 10% off at Hart’s and each month we get 20% of at the meeting for one special item/category! This meeting, our special discount will be on Art Gallery Fabrics! They are one of my personal favorite manufacturers of fabrics. If you haven’t touched them, make sure you do, they are an extra soft quilting cotton!
Latifah Saafir Workshop: We still have some openings for our upcoming Bias Tape Applique Technique class with Latifah on June 10th. The cost is $70, so don’t forget to bring your checkbooks. This is your last chance to signup before we open to other guilds (and they are chomping at the bit to get in!). Here is a link to a couple samples of projects Latifah has made with these techniques and can teach us! The board is signed up! Come join us!
Retreat Sign Ups: We will also be opening up the last three retreat spots to other guilds following this meeting, so if you have been thinking about joining us (please do, it will be so much fun!) make sure to sign up before the meeting using your invite! Suggestion Box: The Board is having a really great time putting together content and scheduling workshops, but we want to hear from you too! Have a suggestion for a meeting topic, an attendance question or workshop? Visit the Suggestion Box on our blog and submit it. The Board will see it and your name, but it won’t post anywhere.
Sew & Tell: We had some great progress made at Pam’s workshop. Please feel free to bring finished One Corner Log Cabin tops or blocks to share with the guild along with your usual gems! (Not coming to the meeting may just be an excuse to give myself one more month to finish something).
