We started off 2020 with a giveaway for members who signed up for 2020 MQG membership prior to the start of meeting. We had two winners:
- Creative Grids ruler won by Jeannie Land
- Harts gift card won by Susan Wagener
Quiltcon Charity Quilt 2020 update:
- SBAMQG official entry top has been completed. Mo Goltz emailed photos, which Darlene printed and shared with the group. ~37 members participated in making the quilt
- The “unofficial” Charity Quilt for Second Harvest Food Bank will be submitted to MQG by “Individual Members”. The finished quilt was shared!
BOTEOM:
- Lori Green and Ruth Smith completed a demo of “Modern Stripes,” the BOTEOM due March 3rd. Color scheme is Bordeaux, Lemon, and Palm
- BOTEOM for “Vintage Crossed Lines” were due and were won by Kathy Howard
Sew and Tell:
- Barbara Keeley shared 3 quilts
- Cate Munch shared a shirt
- Laura Pyle shared her jacket from Tiny Pieces workshop with Chawne Kimber
- Mickey Beebe shared a Hawiian shirt
- Leslie Botu shared a log cabin quilt
- Stacey Rod shared “All Roads” quilt
- Vivian Skripek shared 2 quilts
- Isabella Selak shared her woven quilt
- Regina Falkner shared her “Sea Glass” quilt
