We started our meeting by announcing and celebrating that it was our 8th anniversary of our very first meeting. Who knew that our branch of the MQG would grow and thrive as it has done? We’ve not only grown in size, but together we have produced vibrant work, made friendships, had shows of our work, had guild challenges, retreats, road trips and donated quilts to various charities. We are more when we are together.
We announced our new BOTEOM and it is called “Irish Unchained” Directions for this are posted previously HERE.
October meeting we will have our annual Scrap swap. Bring your scraps, fabric, notions, books or any and sundry items that you would like to sell or share or donate. This is a great way to keep what you love and pass on what you no longer need or want.
We have a sew day coming up on 10/12 at the community foundation room in Aptos.
Here, we have our usual show and tell featuring the amazing quilts we make.
