April 2018 Meeting Recap

HI Everyone!

We had such a great April meeting with lots of ground covered and some beautiful work was on display. First, we had Jeff Yasenchok as guest speaker and he talked about his longarm business which has opened in Scotts Valley. Not only does he offer longarm services which include both edge to edge as well as custom designs, he also teaches longarm quilting and he offers his machine to those who want to quilt their own quilts at his shop. So, go and visit his shop, or check out his facebook page.

We will be having another sew day on April 14th at the Aptos Community Foundation from 9:30 – 4:30. Our Pam Rocco will be giving a free demo “Britches Quilts” and she’ll be showing how to prepare pants for making quilts out of britches.

There still are some spots open for our Free Motion Quilting – Pebble and Play workshop with Mel Beach.
