The 2015 Opportunity Quilt is based on the Burgoyne Surrounded quilt block, which celebrated an important American victory over the British during the Revolutionary War.
Three sections of the AIDS Memorial Quilt be on display. The Names Project is a memorial to the 94,000-plus individuals who have died from AIDS. The quilt, which is internationally famous, was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 and remains the largest community art project in the world.
