Tonight’s meeting brought us important QuiltCon 2016 news about a VERY special addition to the faculty and also about the group charity quilt. We brainstormed about a possible 2nd annual SBAMQG flea market and learned about a fun “Christmas in July” white elephant swap for next month. Of course, nothing is as popular as our monthly Sew and Tell, so here are a few of the lovelies that were shown and admired:
We continued with our recent Fibonacci obsession.
We showed our in-progress quilty gifts.
We had examples of improvisational work.
We had examples of non-improvisational work. (Also, LIBERTY!)
And, don’t even try to keep up with Tina this month…
because that’s definitely not going to happen!
See you in July at the amazing Hart’s Fabric in Santa Cruz.
