Our October meeting began with our annual scrap swap. Prints, solids, even Hello Kitty fabric made an appearance! Several members also sold handmade items and larger swatches of fabric.
Two board members were out of town for this month’s meeting so Darlene and Mo held down the fort! They announced the annual dues ($50 paid by cash, check or PayPal) and openings for the Jen Carlton Bailly Workshop on January 27th.
Isabelle spoke about the progress on the Quilt Con Charity Quilt and showed her quilt in the 2019 Quilter’s Planner. She’s featured in the month of October. Everyone check it out!
Several members brought quilts to show the group.
Next month’s meeting will take place on Election Day. Don’t forget to vote before coming to the meeting! Can’t wait to see you there!
